Business Lab

The University School of Management Studies has a business laboratory housed in its advanced computer lab with around 90 computers in a network environment which provides students a good exposure on various software, management journals, periodicals, and other management tools. The laboratory provides access to software such as Statistical package for Social Sciences (SPSS), E-views, Smart PLS, N-vivo, Smart Biz Simulation software, GoVenture World, R software, NSmart, etc. The Smart Biz software by Biziga was provided in the year 2018-2019 and is a gaming software which involved many aspects of management right from planning, costing, marketing, and sales. The students get hands-on experience on how a manufacturing firm operates. The GoVenture World is a business management and entrepreneur training game focusing on real-world employment skills and prepare for their own startup while competing and collaborating with players around the world. R software is a statistical tool which enables students to conduct research using various R software packages. The NSmart is a NSE simulating software which is useful for the management students to learn trading. The students are equipped with access to money control, subscription to newspapers and case studies. The students are also trained on designing portfolios in stock market investment.
