Prof (Dr) Shalini Garg is working as Professor at University School of Management Studies, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi (INDIA). Dr. Shalini Garg has more than 25 years of experience in teaching at both undergraduate, postgraduate levels (including MBA (General), MBA (Executive), MBA (Healthcare programs)) and in PhD coursework.

Prof (Dr) Shalini Garg is the University Grievance Redressal Officer (Disability Matters), Chairperson of University Inclusion and Accessibility Cell (UIAC UTTHAAN) and Founding Editor of UIAC I&A e-Magazine.



She is the Review Editor on the Editorial Board of Work, Employment and Organizations of Frontiers in Sociology.

She has been the Board Member of University Academic Council & the Member of Internal Committee of the Directorate of Students Welfare of the University for taking care of needs of PWDs besides membership in other committees of the University & the School. She is a professional member of SHRM and AOM. Prior to her current roles of school in-charge MDP & Consultancy she has successfully headed Corporate Relations of the School, PhD programme & student body over the years.

She is guiding PhD scholars in varied topics of her expertise. She has contributed more than 85 research articles and papers in Management Journals of National and International Repute and Conference Proceedings. Her research has been published in high-impact journals indexed in Scopus, Web of Science to name a few. Her Professional pursuits have taken her to some of the prestigious Conferences organized by Universities in Countries all over the world like UK, France, Spain, Japan, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Nepal etc.

Her training & consulting interests are centred around HRM & HR driven Inclusive & Accessible Practices. She has recently completed a Two-Year Project of ICSSR - IMPRESS (MHRD Scheme) entitled 'Assistive Technology, Assistive Technology Services Framework and Artificial Intelligence Applications for People with Disabilities: A Cross National Study" (2019-21) as the Project Director. She has been the Principal Investigator of the three year UGC Major Research Project on “HR Initiatives In Building Inclusive & Accessible Workplace' (2015-18).

She has Authored a book 'HR Initiatives In Building Inclusive& Accessible Workplaces' by Emerald Publishing London UK ( Dec 2019).She has developed a Training Manual for Developing Inclusive & Accessible Workplace & authored course modules on Organisational Inclusiveness , Staffing & Directing and Negotiation Skills for distance learning . She has co-edited two books on Inclusive & Accessible Workplaces published by Bloomsbury (2015 &2014).

Her Contributions in Disability Awareness and Sensitisation of the society through various methods and interventions have been recognised and applauded by the higher Education fraternity and Government Policy Makers for making the University stand out for its Inclusive and Accessible culture and promoting the empowerment of Persons with Disability.

Teaching Experience

Prof. Anil K Saini is currently Professor and Dean of the University School of Management Studies (USMS), Director - Industry Interaction Cell and Director-Development of GGSIP University, New Delhi. He was appointed as a Professor in 2007. He is the Member Secretary of Indraprastha Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IIQAC) of the University. Prof. Saini is a Post-Graduate in Physics, Computers and Management. He obtained his doctorate degree (Ph.D.) from FMS Delhi University in the area of Information Systems.

Before joining USMS, he was holding a senior academic position at FMS, University of Delhi. He carries with him blend of industrial and academic experience of more than 35 years out of which six years in the industry in responsible capacities. Dr. Saini has to his credit sixteen published/edited books and over 110+ papers in national and international journals/conferences. He has travelled extensively abroad and has visited Europe under Teacher-Exchange Programme for teaching courses abroad.

He has guided more than 18 Ph.D. thesis. He is member of the Board of Studies/Advisory/Editorial Board of several Universities and Institutions and reputed Journals. He is a trained NAAC Assessor. His major interests include: Information Systems, Databases, Technology and Innovation Management, Knowledge Management and Healthcare systems.

He is Fellow and Senior member of several Professional societies such as Computer Society of India, Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (IETE), All India Management Association (AIMA), Operational Research Society of India (ORSI), etc. Prof. Saini has served as Secretary and Chairman IETE Delhi Centre, Hony. Treasurer of IETE during 2010-12, Chairman - Board of Examination, Zonal Coordinator, Chairman - Publications Committee (2018-19) (2020-21) and is currently the Vice President of IETE. Dr Saini is also serving as an Independent Director in a Section 8 company of the ICAI.

Prof. Neena Sinha began her academic journey at the Research Institute for Economics and Business Administration, Kobe University, Japan as a Visiting Research Scholar in 1989. Motivated by the culture of academic excellence overseas, she started her teaching career at BITS Pilani in 1992 and moved on to the University School of Management Studies (USMS) as founding faculty at the Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGS IPU), Delhi in 1999 and rose to the post of Professor (Strategy) in 2009. Currently she is serving as Professor USMS, GGS IP University.

A life-long learner, prudent administrator and committed teacher with a passion for research; Prof Neena Sinha has been awarded various research projects sponsored by the University Grants Commission and AICTE including SAP-DRS-1. She has to her credit more than 100 publications which includes research papers in leading management journals such as International Journal of Information Management, Telecommunications Policy, Journal of Retailing and Consumer Services and Technological Forecasting and Social Change. She has successfully supervised 11 doctoral (Ph.D.) theses. Her current research interests include Development Informatics, Marketing, Corporate Social Responsibility, and Business Excellence. She has also authored two edited volumes and seven modules of Strategic Management.

Currently, she is the Co-Chairperson NAAC and NIRF Committee of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University. Earlier, she has successfully chaired numerous administrative responsibilities of Dean, University School of Management Studies, Director (Development) and Controller of Finance of the University.

Prof. Udita Taneja obtained her BTech degree from IIT, Delhi. She pursued her MS and PhD from Tulane University, USA. This was followed by a post-doctoral fellowship at the Mayo Clinic, USA. On her return to India she obtained an MBA degree from IIT, Delhi. Prof. Taneja has teaching, research and industry experience of 23 years both in India and USA. Her corporate experience in India includes having worked in the IT industry developing healthcare applications. Her current areas of research are Information Systems, Healthcare Management and Management of Technology. She has to her credit an AICTE sponsored research project on eHealth. Prof. Taneja was the Coordinator of the USMS PhD program for 10 years. She is currently on the editorial board of a national journal and a peer reviewer for an international conference. She teaches courses in Information Systems Management and Business Research Methods.
