Dr. Anuradha Jha is Associate Professor in University School of Law & Legal Studies having more than 19 years of teaching experience. She has done her Doctorate in Economics and her area of interest is Multidisciplinary aspect of Economics and Law. She has published articles and made paper presentations in seminars and conferences. Her students are groomed in contemporary issues related to Economic policies, Business environment, Managerial economics etc. Besides classroom teaching, emphasis is on overall personality development of a student with special emphasis on professional skill development activities involving field visits and legal awareness.
Dr Anuradha Jha is an alumni of Sri Ram College of Commerce, University of Delhi. She is a First Rank holder and Gold Medalist at Masters level in economics (University of Bihar). Her Doctorate of Philosophy was awarded on the topic ‘The Strategy for Privatization in SAARC Countries with special reference to Restructuring Indian Economy’. She also holds Bachelor of Law Degree from CCS Meerut University.
Prior to joining the University School of Law and Legal Studies at GGSIPU, she had taught at Jaipuria Institute of Management, Lucknow as visiting faculty as well as at the nodal study centre of All India Management Association (AIMA). She worked as a fulltime faculty at New Delhi Institute of Management (NDIM), affiliated to GGSIPU where she taught postgraduate management students and also foreign university courses of Edinburgh Business School. She worked as academic coordinator of NDIM to coordinate academic activities within and outside NDIM and also to interact with industries and experts; coordinating, designing and implementing several short term programmes for students. She has rich administrative experience as well wherein she worked as Assistant Registrar of the University and was in charge of academic section, affiliation, research development work, verification and clearance of projects and proposals, admissions to different courses, counseling work, formulation of guidelines related to Ph.D related proposals etc. She was also awarded by Personality Development Education Society, Hydrabad.
She is a member of Economic Association of SRCC, University of Delhi. Her area of specialization is Rural Development.
In her present assignment as Assistant Professor, she is keenly working on integrating law with Economics
